Every feature, free plan included

Instagram Automation Features

Every feature Tadlo has, grouped by the job it does — from what starts a conversation to what you learn when it ends. All of it on the free plan.

Most feature pages are a list of nouns. This one is ordered by when you’d actually meet each thing.

An automation on Instagram has a shape: someone does something public, you answer them privately, the conversation becomes a contact, and afterwards you find out whether any of it worked. Tadlo’s features map onto those four moments, and the grouping below follows them in order. If you’re evaluating the tool, read it top to bottom. If you know what you’re looking for, the cards are the fastest route.

Nothing here is a paid upgrade. The free plan is not a trial of the useful features — it’s all of them.

01 — How a conversation starts

Nothing Tadlo sends is unprompted. Every automation begins with something a person did: commented a keyword on a Reel, replied to a story, or opened a DM. That action is what opens a messaging window under Meta’s rules, and Tadlo answers inside it.

This is not a restraint we chose. Meta’s Messaging API has no endpoint for messaging someone who hasn’t contacted you, so there is no setting in Tadlo that could turn cold outreach on. It’s also the single clearest difference between API-based automation and the mass-DM tools that gave this category its reputation.

02 — What Tadlo sends back

A trigger fires, and then you decide what happens. The flow builder is where you lay that out — a message, a delay, a branch, a link, a question whose answer changes the next step.

Two features live here because they change what the reply is worth. The follow gate holds your link until the follow is checked against Meta’s API, rather than trusting someone who tapped “I’m following”. A/B testing runs two versions of the same flow against real traffic and tells you which one people actually replied to, instead of which one you preferred when you wrote it.

03 — Where the leads land

Automation that ends when the message is sent is a party trick. These four are what turn it into a pipeline.

Every conversation becomes a contact you can tag, filter and export. Every DM stays readable in one place instead of buried in the app. Every comment across your posts and Reels is manageable from one screen rather than post by post. And your bio link is a page you own, with click tracking and email capture, instead of a rented row of buttons.

The two inboxes are not the same thing, and the difference catches people out: the DM Inbox is your live conversations; the Leads Inbox is the people those conversations produced.

04 — What you learn from it

The last group is the one most tools treat as a dashboard you visit once. Analytics tracks what actually happened — DMs sent and opened, links clicked, leads captured, which post drove them.

The AI Growth Agent is the part worth explaining: you ask it a question about your account in plain language and it answers from your own data, builds a flow for you, or tells you why last week was worse than the one before. The AI Content Writer handles the other end — captions, hooks and scripts, refined in a click.

What’s actually free

Every feature on this page is on the free plan, at ₹0, with no card and no trial clock. That includes the ones competitors normally reserve for paid tiers — the follow gate in particular, which is behind a paywall on every rival tool we’ve checked first-hand, as recorded in our comparison of nine DM tools.

Paid plans start at ₹249/month and change three things: Tadlo’s branding comes off your messages, you can connect up to three Instagram accounts on Pro, and you get more AI credits. They don’t unlock the basics.

Delivery is paced within safe sending limits to protect your account. That’s an account-safety measure, and it applies on paid plans too.

Questions? We've Got Answers.

Which Tadlo features are free?

All of them. Every feature listed on this page works on the free plan with no card and no time limit, including the verified follow gate. Paid plans remove Tadlo's branding from your messages, allow up to three connected accounts, and add AI credits. They do not gate any feature behind an upgrade.

What is the difference between the DM Inbox and the Leads Inbox?

The DM Inbox is your live Instagram conversations in one readable place, the way a shared inbox works. The Leads Inbox is the contact record those conversations create — names, captured emails, tags and source, exportable to CSV. One is where you talk; the other is what you keep.

Do I need a Facebook Page to use these features?

No. Tadlo connects through Instagram Business Login, so an Instagram Business or Creator account is the only prerequisite. Most tools in this category run on the older Page-linked Graph API and still require a Facebook Page, which is a genuine obstacle if you have never had one.

Can I use just one feature and ignore the rest?

Yes. Nothing is bundled or forced on. Plenty of people use only comment-to-DM, or only the link in bio. The features are designed to compose when you want them to and stay out of the way when you don't, and turning one off never disables another.

Does the follow gate really check the follow?

Yes. Tadlo reads a per-person follow signal from Meta's Instagram API before releasing your link, rather than trusting someone who tapped a confirmation button. When the check cannot complete, it fails open and delivers the link, because punishing a real follower for an API error we couldn't resolve is the worse mistake.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The flow builder is drag-and-drop: pick a trigger, write the messages, add a delay or a branch if you want one. If you would rather not build it yourself, the AI Growth Agent can assemble a working flow from a plain-language description of what you want to happen.

Is Instagram DM automation against the rules?

Not when it runs on Meta's official Messaging API, which is what Tadlo is approved through Meta App Review to do. What puts accounts at risk is the opposite pattern — tools that log in as you, drive the app in a browser, or message people who never made contact.
