Published by Tadlo AI. We make one of the tools on this page, so we have used only facts from each company's own website and linked every source. Prices checked on 11 October 2026; companies can change them at any time.
How we compared them
We looked at four things, all taken from each company's own pricing page or help centre: the starting price, whether there is a free plan, how Meta's message charges are paid, and how much the tool charges per message compared with Meta's own rate. For India, Meta's rate from 1 October 2026 is ₹0.8631$0.0118 per marketing message and ₹0.115$0.0014 per utility message.

1. Tadlo AI: best for the lowest total cost
Tadlo AI is built for online stores. Your WhatsApp Business Account is created inside your own Meta business account, and Meta bills message charges to the payment method you add there, so Tadlo never touches that money and cannot mark it up. Tadlo's only charge is a flat plan: free for up to 10 messages a day, then ₹999$19, ₹2,499$39 or ₹5,999$89 a month depending on how many customers you message.
- Good for: Shopify and WooCommerce stores, COD confirmation and prepaid nudges, abandoned cart recovery on Shopify, and brands that sell on Instagram, with comments that turn into WhatsApp chats.
- Know before you choose: Tadlo's WhatsApp product is in private beta with a small group of brands, so it is newer than the tools below. Commerce automations start on the Growth plan.

6. Gupshup: best for pay as you go
Gupshup's self-serve WhatsApp API has no subscription. Meta's fee is billed at actual cost, and Gupshup adds its own small flat feefee of $0.001 to every message. For very low volumes that can cost less than any monthly plan. On cheap utility messages, though, a flat fee adds a lot: about 71% on top of Meta's rate for India. Tadlo AI vs Gupshup. Which one should you pick?
- You want the lowest total cost: pick a tool that passes Meta's rate through with no markup, like Tadlo AI, and compare subscriptions for your volume in the WhatsApp pricing calculator.
- You run a Shopify store with lots of COD orders: look for COD confirmation and abandoned cart recovery that work out of the box. Check what returns cost you first with the COD RTO loss calculator.
- You need one inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram and website chat: Gallabox includes all three on its plans.
- You send very few messages and need no automation: a pay-as-you-go option like Gupshup can be cheapest.
