How it works
- A COD order comes in.
- Tadlo sends a WhatsApp message with Confirm and Cancel buttons, and an optional discount for paying online.
- If the customer chooses to pay online, Tadlo creates a payment link and updates the order to prepaid once they pay, with the discount applied where your store allows it.
- If they cancel, the order is tagged and your team is told. If they don't reply, a follow-up goes out after the time you set.
What you can track
COD orders received, confirmed, cancelled and converted to prepaid, your conversion rate, and an estimate of the return shipping costs you avoided, based on your own return rate and order value.
What it costs, and one rule to know
Meta charges by message type. A plain order confirmation is a utility message: ₹0.115$0.0014 per message to an Indian number. If the same message also offers a discount, Meta treats it as marketing, at ₹0.8631$0.0118, because Meta's rules say any promotional content makes a message marketing, and Meta re-categorises templates automatically. Tadlo shows each template's category and cost before you publish, so you can decide which you want. COD confirmation is included from the Growth plan, ₹2,499$39 a month, and Meta bills message charges to you directly, with no markup.
