How it works
- A shopper who has opted in to WhatsApp messages starts a checkout and leaves.
- Tadlo waits for the delay you set.
- It sends a WhatsApp reminder with the shopper's own checkout recovery link.
- If they still haven't bought, optional follow-ups go out. If they buy, everything stops.
You see the whole sequence laid out before you publish, along with what each message costs.
What you can track
For each period you see carts abandoned, reminders sent, links clicked, carts recovered and the revenue they brought in, so you know exactly what the automation earns against what it costs.
What it costs
Cart reminders encourage a purchase, so Meta charges them as marketing messages: ₹0.8631$0.0118 each to an Indian number from 1 October 2026, billed by Meta directly with no markup from Tadlo. Abandoned cart recovery is included from the Growth plan, ₹2,499$39 a month. A thousand reminders a month in India costs ₹863$11.80 in Meta charges.
Good practice
- Only message shoppers who agreed to hear from you on WhatsApp. Messages people didn't ask for get blocked and reported, which hurts your number's quality rating.
- Keep it short: what they left, and one button back to checkout.
- Use one or two follow-ups at most, and stop as soon as they buy.
Abandoned cart recovery works with Shopify. WooCommerce does not record abandoned carts on its own. See Shopify WhatsApp automation.
