Is Tadlo's WhatsApp automation really free?

Yes. The free forever plan lets you send up to 10 messages a day with no Tadlo fee, and there's no trial clock. Meta charges for WhatsApp messages separately and bills those charges directly to the payment method on your WhatsApp Business Account. Tadlo never adds anything to them.

How much does the WhatsApp Business API cost in India in 2026?

Meta charges per message, by category. As of October 2026, a marketing message to an Indian number costs ₹0.8631$0.0118 and a utility message costs ₹0.115$0.0014, and each number gets 1,000 free customer-service replies a month. Meta changes these rates from time to time, so check Meta's published rate card. On top of Meta's charges, most WhatsApp tools charge a monthly subscription, and some add a markup on Meta's charges.

Does Tadlo add a markup on Meta's WhatsApp charges?

No. Meta bills message charges directly to the payment method on your own WhatsApp Business Account, so Tadlo never touches that money. Tadlo also takes no commission on your sales. Tadlo's only charge is your plan's monthly subscription.

What is a contact engaged?

A contact engaged is one unique person you message or who messages you in a month, including broadcasts. Each person is counted once per month, no matter how many messages you exchange with them.

Which Tadlo plan do I need for abandoned cart recovery and broadcasts?

Broadcast campaigns, Shopify and WooCommerce order events, abandoned cart recovery and COD to prepaid nudges are included from the Growth plan. Payment links and revenue attribution are included from the Pro plan.

Can Instagram comments start WhatsApp chats with Tadlo?

Yes. When someone comments a keyword on your Instagram post, Tadlo sends them a DM with a link that opens a WhatsApp chat with your brand, and your WhatsApp automation takes it from there. This needs a paid Tadlo WhatsApp plan and a paid Tadlo Instagram plan.

Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?

Yes. You can connect a new number or one you already use. If your number is on the WhatsApp Business app, Meta's coexistence option can connect it while you keep using the app, with some limits that Tadlo shows you during setup.

Who owns my WhatsApp Business Account if I use Tadlo?

You do. Your WhatsApp Business Account is created inside your own Meta business account through Meta's Embedded Signup. If you stop using Tadlo, your number and account stay with you.

Is Tadlo built on the official WhatsApp API?

Yes. Tadlo uses Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). It does not automate WhatsApp Web or use unofficial bots, which can get numbers banned.

Can my WhatsApp number get blocked?

No tool can guarantee that it won't, because Meta decides. Meta limits or blocks numbers that receive many blocks or reports from customers. Tadlo checks your number's quality rating and messaging limits every 15 minutes, ramps up new numbers gradually, excludes opted-out customers automatically, and alerts you by email and in the app if your quality drops.
